Liquid Agents: Detergents, flocculants and defoamers for water treatment systems
Water Maze offers a number of liquid formulations to aid the processing of wastewater in water treatment systems. Among them are:
-
Quick-Release Detergents: There are several blends of detergents made for pressure washers that feature quick-release properties. Most detergents pull grease and grime from off the surface by encapsulating the grime within the water molecules. It’s called emulsification. That works well for removing dirt, but it’s a pain for water treatment system that work to separate oil from water. The Water Maze quick-release detergents do both—encapsulate the grime, then release it once it has been rinsed. Water Maze offers phosphate-free and low-phosphate all-purpose cleaners and degreasers, all of which come in 5- and 55-gallon containers.
-
Flocculant: The EC+Plus is an anionic flocculant designed for the Water Maze EC+ electrocoagulation wastewater treatment system. It is extremely effective in wash-water clarification and solids removal. Once the wastewater has been “shocked” by the EC’s electrocoagulation process, the EC+Plus flocculant causes a quick agglomeration of the suspended solids forming larger particles, which are then easily removed from the water by natural settling or filtration.
-
Defoamer: The Water Maze Defoamers are for wastewater evaporators, such as the Water Maze HBG, because they reduce the build up of suds in a waste stream caused by bubbling agitation. The problem of suds is compounded when the wastewater contains oil, soap, organics, etc. Water Maze 5600 Defoamer has been formulated for the toughest of water cleaning applications.
